Ramin has over ten years of experience in the Iranian mining industry, where he worked as a project manager and senior geophysicist on a variety of mining exploration projects.

He is a PhD candidate in Geophysics, and was ranked first in the Iran national PhD entrance exam in 2015.

Ramin has been involved in the planning and execution of a variety of geophysical surveys for the Sarcheshme copper deposit, the largest of its kind in Iran, and the Golgohar Iron Mine.

As part of his PhD thesis, Mr. Rafiei is working on a knowledge-driven technique for mineral potential mapping in the Hired gold region in eastern Iran. As an NBIT specialist, he brings to Novamera his expertise in mineral perspectivity mapping, electromagnetic data interpretation, and 3D geological modelling.
